The Comprehensive Ecology project of Casa Santa Elena began in 2019. Since then we have not stopped being excited and surprised by the amount of changes and actions that can be carried out in the hotel sector to take care of much more than the natural environment and promote sustainable and regenerative tourism.
In the House we are committed to a new way of doing things with the circular economy as a flag, reducing the waste generated to the minimum and practicing a comprehensive ecology that not only takes into account the environment, but also its inseparable relationship with people, society and values.
We work to balance natural capital, the use of renewable energy and the reduction of emissions, and we have defined our sustainability and circular economy roadmap to bring the House into line with the European Commission’s Green Deal and guide our activity to:
