The event was held on November 10, 2022 in the Can la Pruna building in Pals. The purpose of the event was to promote the quality of occupation in the Baix Empordà under the Experimental Innovative Projects program, financed by the Public Occupation Service of Catalonia. The president of the Regional Council, Joan Manel Loureiro; the first vice-president and counselor for Economic Promotion of the Council, Xavier Dilmé; as well as the mayor of the host municipality, Carles Pi, and other mayors, mayors and authorities of the region.
The companies recognized by the technical commission as “Socially Responsible Company of the Baix Empordà” stand out for their responsible behavior, their contribution to the socioeconomic development of the territory and the work carried out for integration and labor promotion, during the months of March 2021 and October 2022. Thanks to the recognition, these companies will also have access to training in collaboration with PIMEC.
The Baix Empordà Regional Council, together with the Baix Empordà Regional Network of Economic Promotion Technicians, wanted to highlight the ability of these companies to adapt and innovate in the face of the difficulties of the current post-pandemic labor market and the war in Ukraine that has generated a complex socioeconomic context.
